It Turned Blue!!

Hopefully you've seen the commercial. If not, well you already know what it means because it's no news to anyone that we're having another baby! Yes that's right folks. I thought I'd never see the day. I'm not sick, thank the Lord. I think I had enough sickness with Abby to last my entire life. Maybe I'll be one of the lucky few who don't have any sickness! I can't imagine being able to enjoy a pregnancy. My bosses wife left me a lovely surprise on my desk after she found out I was pregnant. Some crackers & ginger ale in case I get sick. Let's hope I can use it to enjoy eating instead of to avoid getting sick. I'm now 8 weeks and have my first doctor's appointment tomorrow. Check back for ultrasound pictures I'll post when I get home (hopefully). It probably won't look like anything except a little bean, but that's ok, I'll post it anyway. I won't really believe it until I actually see something in there. So I guess it's not totally sunken in yet. But I have already started thinking about things I'll need to buy. For some reason, I have it stuck in my head that it's a boy. So when I think about names or buying things, it's all about boy stuff. But then I think, wait a minute, it might be a girl. But I have a while before I have to think about that. It's hard to imagine having a boy, I guess because I have Abby. I would love to have another girl though but I would like for Billy to have the experience of having a son. Sometimes I think I don't know what I'd do with a boy! I went to a baby shower at church today and it's weird to think that not too long from now, it'll be me in that seat. I'm so thankful and very blessed. I think I'm going to start a pregnancy blog so I don't fill up our family blog with a bunch of hormonal stuff :) so check back for the link to that one.
Anyways, in other news! Abby is going to school 2 days a week now instead of 5. She stays home with Billy Mon-Wed and goes to school Thur-Fri. We're saving money and it's not so hard on her this way. Billy's mom also keeps her 1 night if she's off work and that's a big help too. Me and Abby have had a cough for about 2 weeks. Seems like everybody around us is getting sick. Abby can't wait for summer, she asks us to take her to the pool atleast once a week. I try to tell her it's not warm enough but she wants to jump in there with it freezing cold (she did try to go outside in the snow with her bathing suit on). Maybe I can find an indoor pool somewhere we can take her. She would love it. Well I guess that's all that's going on around here for now. Bye for now!

ok - I will 3rd the pregnancy blog. Now that I'm done it will be interesting to read about your's! Also, I too felt like you (regarding the sex of the baby). I had a boy's name picked out instantly but could never come up with a girl's name. I guess we'll find out in a few more months!!! Glad you're not sick.
