Cartersville Morning Moments from Pastor Bill

The peace that passes all understanding is one of the most precious forms of encouragement that God has ever given us. It’s the solution for the pursuit of peace. It’s the peace that comes when we avoid impure actions. And it’s the satisfying answer in our chase for contentment, for the ability to actually enjoy life.
Paul writes 4 “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
It is good to have the right attitude about life but we need more than just a good attitude. We have to choose joy in times of anxiety. If anxiety rules your day, turn the tables on your stress. Sing a praise song as if it’s the best day of your life, and not the worst. Tell God how much you love Him, even if you feel quite unloved during an anxious season. Choosing joy in the midst of anxiety is faith lived out.

That's a good question. I was thinking Philippians but that could very well be wrong. Wonder why he put verses and no chapter.
